It me, Steph. Trying to help normalise fat bodies in underwear (and other two pieces) since 2014. Why? Because one day, I would like to open a magazine, catalogue (if those are still knocking about) or a website page and see prospective pieces of underwear being demonstrated on bodies that look like mine, so I can at least have an idea on what it’ll look like on me. I need to see bulges, what the armpit fat will look like 😂, how high the knickers come up to etc, and we can’t see that if the pieces keep being demonstrated by size 10-12s.
Also, fat can be sexy too, tbh. Get into it.

Therapy is hard. Learning how to heal years of trauma is hard. But totally necessary, because I have to do it for her. 14 year old Steph who was bullied and beaten up for 5 years. Who thought she was ugly and unlovable (and sometimes...well a lot of the time, still has these moments), who would self harm and starve herself constantly. Who was a recluse because she felt she didn’t deserve to have friends or be shown kindness. The process of learning how to love yourself unconditionally is gruelling, but I figure that everything I’ve done thus far will have been done in vain if I don’t take the time to self-parent and let her know everything is going to be okay one day. One day. Who knows? Anyway the point I’m trying to make is that therapy is absolutely a necessary thing that everyone should have access to, if you can.

AD | We have FINALLY made it through to six weeks and as you can see: not only have we been helping repair and maintain hair, but we're also out here helping repair bones too haha!
I've been taking part in the @PerfectilOfficial Hair Crush Rush challenge over the last 6 weeks in a bid to help increase my hair growth in order to rock the natural look more often.
The main change I've noticed is the THICCNESS okay?! My hair feels healthy and thick, and I've even noticed changes in my eyebrows in regards to length too!
Hair Crush has really given me the confidence I need to rock the natural look more often, which in turn means being able to keep my hair looking even more healthy and flourished.

🍗Letting go of blame🍗 Since we live in a weight-focused culture, we’re brought up being inundated with messages promoting dieting, fear of weight gain, and idealisation of smaller bodies.
This becomes internalised over time: the insecurities holding you back are a result of your upbringing. They aren’t a reflection of you and your inability to love yourself - it’s not your fault if you feel ashamed in your body! You’ve been trained to think this way from the time you were born.
A good thing to do is to think back to the first time you remember feeling insecure in your body. For most people, I feel like it’ll be from early childhood. Ask yourself why you felt that way. What external messages were you receiving that made you feel that way?
