MAC MSF Dupe? Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Bronzer: Fame

makeuprevREAL2
Yes people, we have another Makeup Revolution post and frankly I couldn’t wait to talk about this one because it’s so bloody gorgeous! Today we have the Vivid Baked Bronzer in Fame (£4.00) which is one of four baked bronzer shades. Bronzers are the new guys on the block within my makeup arsenal; at the moment I generally use them to highlight and to add depth within the contours of my face. Please believe however, that I will be using the hell out of these babies come Summer!
So, onto the bronzer. Let’s just get the aesthetics out of the way; just look at it. Isn’t it just gorgeous?! See how is shimmers. ‘Fame’ is a highly pigmented copper with intertwining golden flecks, encased within a plastic spherical case. While the powder doesn’t feel as finely milled as I would like, it is far from chalky and has a great colour payoff when applied. A suggested use for this bronzer is to use a wet brush upon application as it makes for a more vivid look and I can attest to this; the pigmentation appears to be a lot bolder using a wet brush and reminds me of MAC’s Gold Deposit. Both are deeply pigmented with a lot of colour payoff and I think would be an incredible colour for people with darker skin as I find it brings out a lot of warm undertones.

I was pleased to discover that the formula blends into the skin easily without me looking like a disco ball, which is always a plus. I think this would be a product that suits all skin tones and an all round great bronzing (or even highlighting!) powder!
