As I type this, I’m currently nursing a sore head and sore everything else from last weekend’s shenanigans at the Curve Fashion Festival in Liverpool! The plus size style convention hosted a roster of some of the biggest plus size retailers in the country, a bevvy of gorgeous bloggers and online influencers and keen shoppers ready to do their credit cards some damage.
As you probably already know by now, I have joined eBay as one of their Curve Content Influencers and will soon be posting some utterly dope articles for them (stay tuned!). I was invited by eBay as their guest and had such an incredible time having a natter with selfies with my readers and doing some serious catching up with some of my gorgeous blogger pals! Obviously, I couldn’t be there without taking a few photos of what I wore on the day. These photos were taking by my exceptionally talented friend, photographer and fellow blogger Kitty from Kitty Rambles a Lot, who is also a contributor to the up and coming plus size magazine, She Might Be.
I’d love to say a huge thank you to navabi for dressing me for the event, as I received a plethora of compliments on their Printed Chiffon longline blouse which, in a word, is stunning. The material feels so good against my skin and is so comfortable. I paired the blouse with my trusty Simply Be Faux Fur clutch and Chelsea boots. as you can see, I was feeling the yellow/grey aesthetic. Simplicity was key here as I wanted the bold prints of the shirt to speak for itself.
I’ve chosen to wear the blouse as a dress here (as it’s normally meant to be worn with jeans or leggings). As the buttons stop halfway down my tummy, I’d proceed with caution if wearing as a dress, especially if you’re in a windy place as all you need is one gust of wind and your birth canal could be on show to everyone LOL. The blouse is great if you have big arms like myself and is very roomy. I’d suggest sizing down if you want something a bit more tailored.
